By: brummer humm? i think xmen outdone spiderman! one of the only sequels that coule be called a true moive sequel! Xmen sequels kept getting better ech time! Spiderman is the one to put superheros on the screen? NOT!!
the First Marvel Masterpiece From the pages of Stan Lee's legendary comic book series is the motion picture Event "X-MEN" the team of mutant superheroes who protect those who fear them. One of the Greatest Superheroe movies of all time, extrodonary, fantastic with spectacular visual effects. One of the Best films of 2000. Starring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Halle Berry as Storm, Patrick Stewart as Professser X, James Marsden as Cyclops and Famkee Jamenson as Jean Grey. X-Men becomes a trilogy with the release of X-Men: the Last Stand. "Are you sure your on the right side"Triple-dip. Greed knows no limits. The X-Men movies are fantastic. The first being wonderful character-developing platform which re-launched the comics-to-film genre after Warner Bros killed it with the horrendous "Batman and Robin". The second being the typical rollercoaster action event with little plot, but multi-layered fight scenes and huge explosions.
Fox's greed at cashing in on X-Men is rediculous. X3 comes out this summer, and fan furor will peak again, but why would fans want a bare-bones disc? especially considering most people have the two disc sets already (the original X-Men release and the 1.5 release) a third release is downright insulting. Why they are releaseing this on DVD again.... In a few months, 20th Century Fox is re-releasing X-Men and X2 as single disk DVD releases. No 2.5 version is planned. According to sources at Fox, the decision to re-release these movies on DVD was made in the aftermath of Bryan Singer's defection to Warner Brothers (even though he had a contract to do X-Men 3), The studio was not amused by this move and so the decision was made to yank the current 1.5 version and the two disk X2 DVD sets from the market as they listed interviews with production personal who will not be returning for the thrid X-Men Film. In all defense of 20th Century Fox, the reason for doing yet another DVD release of the same movie was just practical business. The 1.5 edition was little more then a X2 promo DVD release, and was done at great expense to Fox, given the fact that it contains out of date information and a promo for both X2 and Daredevil (two movies that the studio is no longer proud of) was just sound business decision making. It has nothing to do with greed, It's just called sound business. Don't like it, Then that's your problem. Besides the first two X-Men movies could not hold a cloud to the success of Spider-Man, the real movie that finally put superheroes on the big screen.
