Kermit, now a Hollywood star, returns to his childhood digs to recount a grand adventure from his years as a young tadpole with amphibious pals Goggles and Croaker. As narrator, Kermit takes viewers back in time to when the tadpole trio, on the brink of froghood, ventures outside the swamp to explore the world beyond. Danger awaits them when an eccentric pet owner nabs Goggles. Even worse, a sinister science teacher is on the hunt for frogs, dead or alive, to be used in class dissections. WONDERFUL!! I find this movie to be absolutely hysterical. I am not a little kid and I still find it to be quite amusing, as does the little boy I babysit for. He is obsessed with this movie, and I must say, it is one of the few movies I don't mind watching again and again. I especially love Goggles, especially when he moons the big frog. I forget his name. I am also not a huge fan of the muppets, yet I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, which I suppose is a good thing, since I guarantee I will probably have to watch it another 10 times within the next year or so. All in all, I love it!
Great Movie for 2 year old I bought this movie (...) and my 2 1/2 year old son LOVE it. It is the only movie he wants to watch. I must admit I really enjoy it as well. Fun movie with good music.
Just plain bad.....not recommended. We have been watching "The Muppets Take Manhattan" several times a day (lol) with my 5 and 2 year old sons. Kermit is their favorite! Naturally, the title of this movie caught my eye. Bad investment. This movie is not any good....at all. The plot is slow and it has disturbing moments. We watched it one time ("we" being my husband and myself....the kids were disinterested after 15 minutes).....and we put in the yard sale box.
