Nice, Smooth Voice: I give this four stars because it was not what I was expecting. Since I have taken a liking to Lauren Talley's voice; or since I just discovered her talented vocals, I was expecting more out of this CD. It just was not there. Overall, it is very delightful and well put together. I enjoy it very much.
BEST TALLEY CD EVER!!!!!!!!! This project by Lauren Talley is the best Talley anything. I ordered the complete soundtracks from this CD and sing at least 2 songs from this every time. My favorite songs on this CD are "Then and There" and "I Thank you Lord". But I love each and every song on this CD. Lauren Talley is a very unique individual. She can really get a crowd into her music and gospel all in one. Plus, she's very pretty. I recomend this CD to anyone who likes true-blue southern gospel. I also recomend her other 2 solo projects: "Surrender" and "I Live". They are good, but this one is the best!!!!!!I absolutely love this CD! I have all 3 of Lauren's albums and this one is still her best. There is not a single song on this album that I do not thoroughly enjoy listening to! They're all great! This CD is a definite must-have!Absolutely Amazing!!! I am an avid fan of Contemporary Gospel music such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McClurkin. Not much of a country fan, but this album is absolutely amazing. The voice and relationship with God that this girl has is unbelievable!! I fell in love with the music after the first song.
When listening to Lauren you forget that this is "country" and it becomes pure gospel (the good news). This is a must have for EVERY Gospel fan!!I'm Not into Gospel BUT This! I don't usually listen to Gospel music (I think Elvis is the last Gospel songs I had) but I heard Lauren Talley sing and was really impressed! This I can really get into. I had to get this cd. I love "He Laid His Hand on Me" and the David/Dance song, but I really like them all, even the slower ones. She has a wonderful voice and controls it well. Now I have to try to find a cassette for my car...it's that good!
