GOOD BUT NOT GREAT While I enjoyed reading about exec Janice Singleton's transformation from an independent woman into a willing sex slave, I have to agree that this work seems a little bit rushed. Following this book up with 3 other works by Scott (House Rules, Whipping Boy, and Whip Hand) only reinforced this feeling. Having said that, I enjoyed it never the less and am glad it prodded me to seek out some of his other, earlier (and better), novels. Not for everyone This was a great book if the concept of sexual humiliation appeals to you. A bit disappointing.... Unlike several of Scott's other novels, this one seems to have been written quickly and tossed into the market. The plot was thin, the characters undeveloped, the sex perfunctory. Not impressed.
