Softcover, 372 pages, there is writing on the inside cover and 1st blank page, there are some folded pages, the cover has folds and candlewax spilt on it but the pages inside good. I'm sure there's some notes inside but I didn't find any when filpping through. If you can ignore the cover or cover it, the book has some great info. thank You, - Bunglehead Condition: Acceptable
Good Book The book made it to my house before the day they said it would make it by. The book was like new with no markings or torn pages.
Maybe if you're just starting out... This book is way to "shallow"... It skips from one subject to the next without any detailed insight. Way to much blah, and valuable info very limited. Too much "outdated" stuff, very limited modern info! Maybe an OK source when you're starting out.
This book sets the standard for Audio Engineering What can I say?
I found out about this book by going to the website for the Audio Engineers Society and checking what schools taught Audio Engineering.
I found a college in my area that offers a degree in Audio Engineering and this was listed as the only text book for their classes.
This is going to be a reference for me probably for the rest of my life as I study Audio Engineering.
There are a lot of mathematical formulas that I don't understand and I plan to take a physics class in the near future but there seem to be enough pictures in the book that one does not need to fully understand the physics/math/acoustics to get started on recording and mixing.
