One of the best romance books I have ever read!!! This one was the best out of the series. It was the very first romance book I have ever read. I highly recomend it to anyone. Also look up River Lady and Countefiet Lady.
EXCELLENT! ONE OF MY FAVORITE JUDE DEVERAUX BOOKS!!!!!!! This book is so awsome. I love the characters. The plot was unpredictable. The last 10 pages I was so tense, I was grpping the book so hard I`m surprised it didn`t fall apart. The book was so romantic. A must read for all romance lovers!!!!!!!! You`ll love it!!!Not Deveraux's best... but good... This is not one of Jude Deveraux's best stories, but it is very good. If you don't like this one, don't let it be the judge of whether you will read another by this author... she's a very talented author, and many of her books are a great deal better than this one.
Although I did enjoy this story, the heroine was a little too dependent on the hero. I would have liked to see more strength in her, even though she did go through a lot in the story. Nevertheless the story was pretty good and I did enjoy it.
