great gift this was a birthday present. she loved it! i can't wait to borrow it to read as well!
Pithy, Insulting, Great Comedy, Wonderful This is a must have for political and comedic junkies alike. Jon Stewart sends up all branches of government, the fourth estate and the rest of the world in a manner that suprisingly, actually does educate. While one must suspend personal biases in order not to escape being "hit" by any part of this book, if one is open to laughing at oneself, even the parts that would seem insulting come off as just a reflection of different perspectives not necessarily reflecting one's own.
Truly, Jon Stewart has secured with this book his place in comedy, if not politics and media.
Hilarious! Stewart and his crew nail it. If you like the Daily Show, you will love this book. If you like political satire, you will love this book. I have the calendar on my desk where I get a snippet of the book everyday and it reminds me of what I read and I laugh everyday.
