Fantastic! Westerners really have no idea about what's going on in iran, this book is amazing, i learned so much! and the black and white drawings really add a special touch to it.
Fantastic memoir Persepolis is one of those rare books that allows you to glimpse into another culture and obtain a completely different perspective. It's funny, poignant, refreshingly honest and political, all at once. The heroine is intriguing, flaws and all. Paired with part 2 of the series, it makes for a wonderful gift.An Amazing Honest Story Beautifully Told This graphic novel is incredible both in the language and in the art. The story of a young girl struggling to live in Iran comes across amazingly clear. I would recommend the novel to young adults and over despite the age of the character.
