loved it I loved this book. It was involving, and captured you from page on. I walked around thinking about the next opportunity I could cram in some one on one with this book....
Rachel, the main character is very lovable, and all the people surrounding her are both belivable and very well developed.
The book is filled with great language, and whitty scenerios- it was genius.
I was introduced to the amazing Marian Keyes through her hilarious book Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married, and once i read that, i was hooked! I buy each one of her books as soon as i know it has been released, and i've never been disappointed. Rachel's Holiday is amazing. Funny, heartbreaking, shocking, i couldn't put it down. The story is shown through Rachel's eyes, so you really see her journey through denial, anger, and eventually realisation. But it is never dark or dull, always finding the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel! Her descriptions as she arrives at the centre are laugh out loud funny, with her insistence that they must be "in the middle of re-decorating" A must read!
